Hey, yeah, commentary with the post for a change. I don't have active FTP atm, but in case you don't frequent the forums, no, I'm not dead, but my laptop is. So I've been on the family desktop, playing Grand Chase and learning to use Painter, as anyone who's been voting can tell you (and thanks to those of you who have been despite the down time). I think I've got the money to get the laptop repaired, meaning hopefully I can get Manga Studio running again (it's not a happy camper with Vista and 4 isn't out yet to solve the problems [DO WANT, btw]), but until then my Painter practice comes to you in the form of a page I'm mostly pleased with sans that hideous gradient thing around the explosion, but to be honest that was the most time consuming part of this whole thing (no joke) so it can go ahead and bite me. :D At least Darin, Sam and Hiaté all look pretty epic.

Anyways, this took a while and I've other things I've been doing, but I'll try not to make it too long between pages all the same. Keep voting and I'll keep getting you guys sketches and such, and thus I'll keep learning Painter's tricks, so hopefully I'll get better with it. I like this, but I'm sure I've many tricks yet to learn. ;D Like how to make not poop gradients. :x Still getting the hang of the thing's blending, and making brown not turn purple when I do (see: buildings).
